Dad's Bug Bear

Dad hates pets. In fact he hates animals of all kinds – they are too smelly, too itchy, too slithery and too noisy.
When some animals escape from the local zoo, the family find polar bear poo on their doorstep and an unexpected visitor in the house. Dad is very cross and does his best to get rid of the bear, only to end up falling off the roof and having to be saved by the very animal he hates.
This is a most unusual story, it is certainly original, as are the quirky illustrations from a new young artist. They have a randomness and dreamlike quality, which is appealing and likely to fascinate youngsters.
