Henry Tumour
by Anthony McGowan
Hector Brunty is a boy with a problem: he has a brain tumour. But that's just the beginning, as Hector's tumour, christened Henry, talks.
Not only that, Henry starts to take control of Hector, running his life for him, which is fine when he is advising him on hair styles and girls, but not so good when he makes Hector swear loudly in Tourette's syndrome fashion.
Henry Tumour is certainly a memorable book: it's funny, shocking, and thought-provoking, too. Just be warned that the language is extreme throughout!

What you thought
I really think this is a good book. More kids should be told about books like this. I am really very upset with the fact that girls such as myself who enjoy reading but not about vampires have no good books to read. They have bot been informed about good books as the once at school are bad and boring. More people need to be told about more books like this
