Three Monsters

After an interval of many years, David McKee follows up his classic picture book Two Monsters. In this new book, the two monsters, now firm if somewhat lazy friends, are joined on their island by a new, yellow monster, who needs a place to live.
The monsters agree that he can stay on one condition - that he tidies up the island of all its messy rocks first. The end result is not what the two monsters had in mind and teaches them a lesson about expectations.
This is a delightfully simple picture book, written and illustrated in McKee's distinctive style.
