The Night Pirates

A band of rough, tough, girl pirates steal the front of Tom's house for disguise and agree to take him off on an adventure. The youthful pirates attack Captain Patch and his grown-up pirates, who have never seen a sailing house before and who hide in the trees like cowards; the girls take their treasure chest and sail away home again. On the pirate's return, their attempts at restoring the front of Tom's house don't quite work out! Big, bright, action-packed illustrations complement a lively, rhythmic and repetitive text which encourages participation. Words are written up, down and across the page in a variety of sizes. This is excellent for reading out loud to 3-6 year olds.
