Blue Rabbit and the Runaway Wheel

One day Blue Rabbit sets off on his red bicycle looking for adventure. But, not looking where he is going, he soon hits a large rock and comes off along with one of the bicycle's wheels. Meanwhile, the bicycle sets off on an adventure of its own with Blue Rabbit in pursuit...

On his way he encounters Squirrel collecting wood after a 'whizz' has knocked it down, Badger, who is sitting in a puddle of mud, after a bicycle knocked him in; and Tortoise, who has been turned over and upside down by a runaway reckless bicycle rider.

Following the wheel in a wide circle, the animals end up back where Blue Rabbit started - and now he has some explaining to do! Christopher Wormell's classic blue rabbit illustrations are both humorous and endearing as they introduce young readers to a reassuringly familiar world.
