Andie's Moon

Part of the Historical House series

by Linda Newbery

It's the summer of 1969 and the first moon landing is imminent. Budding artist Andie is fascinated by the moon, which inspires many of her paintings.

When she moves to a flat in Chelsea with her family and befriends the other children living there, she is soon spending her days exploring the exciting London sights and her evenings star-gazing on the roof.

In this world where anything seems possible, Andie vows to pursue her dream of becoming a 'real' artist.

This is the latest 'Historical House' novel about the lives of a series of young women living at Number Six Chelsea Walk, throughout the ages. The excitement and optimism of the late 1960s sets the scene for the story which will appeal particularly to young girls.
