This is the story of Platypus, an endearing character who loves collecting things. After one particularly successful day at the beach, Platypus returns triumphantly with a beautiful curly shell to add to his collection. But when he wakes the next day he is baffled to discover that his shell has gone.

 

This is a beautiful and heart-warming book with a gentle message about respecting the natural world. The simple, bold illustrations are satisfying and full of character.
