Pond Goose

by

Caroline Jayne Church
Illustrator: Caroline Jayne Church

Mucky little Pond Goose is not like the other clean and shiny geese with their spotless white feathers and they all make fun of him. But sometimes, mucky feathers can be an advantage, as the other geese find out when the fox pays a call.

So the other geese follow suit, oblivious to Pond Goose's warnings that when the weather changes, a goose's camouflage must too, and it is time to clean up their act.

But the other geese won't listen until the fox returns - and, of course, it's up to Pond Goose to once again save the day!

A timeless farmyard tale about wisdom, vanity, friendship and being different, with superb illustrations by Caroline Jayne Church. This title was shortlisted for the 2005 Booktrust Early Years Awards (Pre-School Category).
