Guitar Girl

by Sarra Manning

17-year-old Molly and her two friends dream of starting a girl band and singing about ordinary things such as school and those little toys you get in plastic eggs. After their first 'official' gig, they are approached by Dean and T, who offer to join the band and help them succeed. Molly is plunged into the terrifying world of celebrity, which leaves her struggling to remember who she was before she became lead singer of The Hormones.

Sara Manning tells the story in an approachable way, perfectly portraying the mood swings of the teenage girls.
