The Adventures of a Nose

by

Viviane Schwarz
Illustrator: Joel Stewart

The Nose knows that there must be somewhere in the world where he can be happy, a place where he can fit in and stick out. Thus begins his frustrating search.

Joel Stewart's intriguing pictures reveal the Nose at the centre of a face wherever he travels, but the Nose, of course, can't see this.

Finally, he explains his worries to a doctor, who tells him what the reader already knows: that the whole world fits perfectly around HIM! This is a masterly visual joke, and a gentle, surreal fable about finding your own place in the world.
