Helpful Henry

Ruth Brown perfectly depicts the daily activities of Henry, a pre-school boy who is desperate to help his mum with the household chores.

He polishes the bathroom floor (with his da's facecloth!), does the washing (including the cat) and helps his dad with the painting - with predictable consequences.

However, it is only when he starts school that Henry finds that his helping hand is truly appreciated.

The expresive artwork is full of bright colours that serve to strengthen and emphasise the spirit of this appealing rhyming tale.
