The Wrong Overcoat

Poor Chimp has been given a new purple overcoat and he's very unhappy about it: it's far too long, he doesn't like the colour, the collar scratches and the sleeves are so tight he can't even bowl properly!
An encounter with a Kaftan-clad kangaroo produces the perfect solution and the resourceful Chimp is able to choose his own new coat.
This is a vibrant and witty rendering of the familiar tussle over choosing clothes, and children will appreciate the conclusion that individuality sometimes needs free rein - no matter how garish the result!
