Book of the month: Give Me Everything You Have: On Being Stalked by James Lasdun

Though flawed in its construction, this memoir by poet and novelist James Lasdun about the time he was stalked online by a former creative writing student is the most compelling book out this month. It discusses the nature of teacher/student relationships and the impact of technology in our lives out there. It is masterfully told and utterly jaw-dropping in the revelations it makes. It's a book to read and talk about and use to look at your own life and relationship with technology.

Meanwhile, Dave Eggers is back with a brilliant allegory for our times, Katie Kitamura impresses with a tale of post-colonialism. There's lots of exciting crime to explore too.
