Books we like: October 2012

This month's book of the month is the spectacular graphic novel Building Stories by Chris Ware.

Also out we have returns from Michael Chabon and Man Booker winner Howard Jacobson. Helen DeWitt follows up The Last Samurai with the smart corporate satire Lightning Rods. Howard L Anderson brings us his debit, Albert of Adelaide. And some author called J K Rowling... yes she of Harry Potter fame brings us her first book for adults.

However, it's Chris Ware's celebration of printed books and the graphic form bordering on genius that impresses the most.
