Books we like: September 2012
Book of the month:
NW by Zadie Smith
It's been nine years since Zadie Smith's last novel and it's been worth the wait. NW is elegaic, sad, beautiful, poetic and much more than a state of the nation - it's about the state of humanity.
That is why it's the book of the month.
Elsewhere we see the return of Junot Díaz, with a short story collection featuring everyone's favourite unlucky in love Yunior, a novel about a family discovering superpowers, and the latest graphic novel from our current writer in residence, Hannah Berry.
