We had a new collection from Daljit Nagra, Gavin James Bower's sophomore effort (read an interview with him here) and the return of comic Russian writer Andrey Kurkov. In a month where the Booker was announced and we celebrated short stories, the books we reviewed represented our favourites from the last few months.
