Bookstart 20
In 2012 we celebrated 20 years of Bookstart - our world-renowned reading programme that gifts free books to babies, toddlers and 3-year-olds. We celebrated everything that the programme has achieved, including the 30 million free books that we had gifted since it all began in 1992.

To ensure future generations derive as much pleasure as I have and continue to get from reading.
I'm am making this pledge because I am hoping that people realise how important books still are in this digital age. Reading "an actual" book is an experience within it's self to be treasured.
