Leave a gift in your will
Including Booktrust in your Will after you have provided for your friends and family is the perfect way to ensure that your support for us can continue to make an impact in years to come. Recent figures show that book ownership among children and young people has fallen alarmingly from 89% to 73% since 2005. We use legacies to tackle areas of need like this, ensuring that everyone has access to, and confidence around, books.
Charitable legacies are paid before tax is deducted, so if you make a gift to Booktrust in your Will its value will be deducted from your estate before inheritance tax is calculated.
Larger legacies may have the opportunity for naming rights to a Booktrust project or event, and those of £500 and over will be recognised on the Booktrust website.
