Booktrust supports teachers and school librarians to make classroom reading and writing fun, inspire book choices and place author visits, reading and books at the heart of the school day.
Booktrust encourages wider reading and new readers, administering book prizes for children and adults, including the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, the Orange Prize for Fiction, the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and the Booktrust Teenage Prize. We also run the Booktrust Power of Reading Award for less-confident adult readers.
